I've been super busy and happy and loving my new job, so haven't had a chance to paint my nails lately. They get totally destroyed and broken when I let that happen, so they're on the shorter side right now. Today I have a simple/fun manicure to show you.
This polish comes from Deborah Lippmann's Holiday 2014 set, which was so spectacular that I sure did spend over $100 on the entire thing.

Splatter Nails! Brought to you by Sinful Colors.
This week's post isn't really a review of any polishes because I decided to try some nail art which makes it kind of difficult to tell the quality of the polish.
This super awesome splatter manicure was requested by none other than Mr. Boyfriend in honor of a new game that came out (that I stood in line to get for him last Friday)-- Splatoon!
I allowed him to pick whichever colors he wanted, since he wanted them to match the poster/game case, and they all turned out to be from my vast collection of Sinful Colors.

OPI Solitaire & Alcatraz; Zoya Chita
It's been a couple of weeks since I've painted my nails, and boy have they suffered for it! They are short and broken and sad.
I have been completely uninspired to paint my nails until tonight I finally decided I wanted a textured look and was watching The Little Mermaid. The rest is history.

Happy Passover - L'oreal Park Ave Luncheon / delicious matzah
Happy Passover, all! I've been seeing a lot of Easter nails and thought I'd be festive as well, so since I'm not going to be eating enough of it for the next week, here are some matzah nails!

Color Club (holographic) Eternal Beauty & Halo-Graphic .. Ciate Main Stage & Talent Scout
Fortunately, once again, today's manicure is designed by my boyfriend. I apparently have a really horrible sense of colors and am feeling fairly uninspired on my own.
This manicure includes two linear holographic polishes--if you are not familiar with the term, just you wait! Here's hoping for some Spring soon!

Sinful Colors GoGo Girl
Thanks to the wonderful snow, I lost my previous manicure very quickly to shoveling. I walked around shamefully unpainted and it pretty much destroyed my nails, so I'm on the shorter side as you'll soon see.
My boyfriend had colors all picked out for me, I just had to sit on my lazy butt and paint! For some reason, though, I got an odd and extremely rare desire for red nails. I'm not a red person as I don't think it does my complexion justice, so pickings were slim, but a while ago, I was drawn to this one particular red that's a permanent member of the Sinful Colors line--GoGo girl.
Disclaimer: Most of my drugstore polishes are from Sinful Colors and I own about as many of those as I do China Glaze and definitely more than Essies. The formula on all of them is incredible, they're all basically opaque in one coat, they apply wonderfully and they are so incredibly cheap! GET. THEM. The more interested in nail polish I became, the less often I bought drugstore colors. In fact, I don't buy any anymore. Except for these.
