Deborah Lippmann - Weird Science

I've been super busy and happy and loving my new job, so haven't had a chance to paint my nails lately. They get totally destroyed and broken when I let that happen, so they're on the shorter side right now. Today I have a simple/fun manicure to show you.

This polish comes from Deborah Lippmann's Holiday 2014 set, which was so spectacular that I sure did spend over $100 on the entire thing.

Weird Science is a pea-green (yellow based) with generous gold shimmer flecks throughout. I'm not super into green, honestly, but it is so so beautiful.  This applied perfectly in two coats and appears to dry to a somewhat matte-ish finish. This is most likely because it's so jam packed with the gold flecks, but it shines like mega crazy with top coat.

Two coats of Weird Science.
Ooooo.

One simple color is never good enough for me, so I added a couple of studs that I had purchased a while ago and never got around to using. They're super simple to apply and make a manicure look that much cooler and complex.

You stud, you!

Weird Science retails for $18/0.5 mL and you can purchase it from DeborahLippmann.com! All of her polishes are truly beautiful and spectacular and worth it (especially during her amazing sales or Sephora's okay-ish sales).
